Purpose & Application

To terminate a 3-core polymeric insulated medium-voltage cable (XLPE, EPR etc.) of cross-sectional area 120 sq mm (or in a size range that includes 120 sq mm) for indoor installation (e.g. in switchgear rooms, cable galleries, indoor enclosures).
Provide electrical insulation, stress control / grading, shielding / screen termination, sealing against moisture, and interface to the termination hardware (lugs, connectors, busbars).
Cold-shrink / silicone style: installation without heat or flame (no torch)the silicone body is pre-stretched and shrinks into tight contact when the internal support is removed.
